But Ja’Nil is resilient, and life at sea and on the road has its exciting, if deadly, moments.The further Ja’Nil travels and the more people she meets, from traveling players, to warlords, to deadly slavers, to lords and ladies with mysterious and powerful gifts, the more she realizes that it is not just her small Fisherfolk village that is in trouble, but the entire country of Cancordia. She realizes something else, too. As incredible as it sounds, she is the one who must save her world.
